t Crossroads Music we offer high quality repairs for guitars, banjos, mandolins, almost any stringed instrument. Bring in your instrument for evaluation. George has been building and repairing instruments since 1975.  His experience with and passion for the craft assure you the highest quality work available.  Even if they aren't broken, many instruments, new and old, can benefit from a precision set-up that can increase both the playability and the tone.

This 1969 Martin D28 had the top braces collapse. I removed the top, installed new X-braces, and reassembled it. Bill thinks it sounds and plays better than it ever did.

Tube Amplifiers: Repairs by Larry Grobe

Tube amplifiers can be serviced at Crossroads Music as well.
There will be a diagnostic fee and repair will be done only after your approval.

Price: $35 diagnostic fee*

*Fee will be applied to cost of repairs.

Violin Bows & all other orchestra bows: Repairs by Joe Halligan


You can drop off your violin, viola or cello bow for a rehair. Turn around time is about 72-hours. Rehair cost is $60 with natural horse hair.  Other expert repairs on bow can also be done.  You can drop off your bow for an evaluation and a free estimate.

 

Brass & Woodwinds: Repairs by Peninsula Music Repair


On a weekly basis, services for Brass and Woodwind instruments are provided by Peninsula Music Repair. Bring in your instrument by Monday AM and check it into the Crossroads ''clinic''. For most jobs, the item will be returned the following Monday.

We have low cost rentals available for you to use if necessary.
